Lima, 23 November 2008 - After over than a hundred meetings during the year, which brought together various working groups composed by Senior Officials, Ministers from different portfolios business people from the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC), the outcome of the final week has been the Lima Declaration. This Declaration has been issued by all 21 Economic Leaders or their representatives after the meeting held on November 22-23 at the Ministry of Defense Convention Center (MoD).

Lima, 23 November 2008 - APEC PERU 2008 Leaders Week Fora modified its agenda to the global financial crisis. This became a predominant topic during the Leaders' Meeting, held on November 22 and 23 at the Ministry of Defense Convention Center. That is why we agreed to issue a statement to be attached to the outcome of the Meeting of Leaders.

Lima, 23 of November 2008 - The 16° Asia-Pacific   Economic Cooperation Fora (APEC) Leaders Meeting comes to an end today. In this Meeting,   Leaders of 21 Member Economies will discuss crucial issues for the region economic and social development.

Lima, 22 November 2008 - In the framework of APEC CEO Summit 2008 final session, Colombian President Alvaro Uribe, reiterated his interest in including Colombia as member of the Asia-Pacific Economic Corporation (APEC) Fora.

Lima, 22 November 2008 - On the second CEO Summit Meetings day, Hong Kong Leader, Donald Tsang, provided "Strengthening global free trade and investment: which should be keys priorities?" conference. Tsang mentioned some numbers regarding Hong Kong economic growth and spoke about policies that contribute to investment facilitation as well as low taxes system.
